THE HORRINGER ROAD project

Tradition hand painted bespoke shaker style kitchen

Horringer Road in Suffolk, is home to a traditional hand painted bespoke shaker style kitchen. On first meeting our clients Ian and Pam, we were asked from the offset to incorporate two must-haves. The first was a big larder storage cabinet with oak door racking and space for the coffee machine; and the second request was a big island with lots of space for their family and friends to sit.

The shaker style cabinetry is in perfect keeping with the property and style of the house, and features a subtle colour on the woodwork, that is warmed by the bright blue accents the client has used throughout. We designed, made, painted and installed all the cabinetry which included the doors, drawers and face frames, skirting and cornice.

We were also asked to design, make and install fitted wardrobes for the master bedroom as well as a bespoke shelving unit for the dining space. We used a similar shaker style to connect the rooms and to bring cohesion and order to the space.
